About Jasper
BRISTOL QUALITY HAIRDRESSING SINCE 2003.
My name is Jasper Benjamin and I was born in Saint Albans, Hertfordshire in 1971.
My family are spread out all over the world and I currently live in Bristol UK, although I have lived in The Netherlands and Australia previously where I worked in various salons. I’ve also been flown out to Majorca and The Canary Islands to do wedding hair and make up for friends and clients.
I first realised I wanted to be a hairdresser when I was about 12. I used to practice hair and makeup on some of my friends from school. Although I’ve always been interested in aesthetics, I’ve also always loved interiors and architecture.
Professional Life
After working and managing salons for years I became self employed working from home in 2003. I prefer working by myself and having the time to do a good job. I do like to do things thoroughly so this is better than working in a busy and stressful environment, I find working from home better for both me and my ladies.
I’ve been a finalist twice in the Great Lengths Hair Extensions Awards. I entered freelancer of the year.
As well as my straightening treatments, I love good quality hair extensions. They’ve gained huge popularity in the last 15 years and can transform your look.
The thing I love most about my job is transforming people and making them look and feel like a million dollars. So often people come to me feeling stressed or down and walk out feeling so much better. It’s so rewarding.
